Spa Etiquette

Spa Cancellation Policy:

This policy is crucial to maintaining a respectful-smooth operation and ensuring fairness to all our guests and, most importantly, our therapists. Cancellations must be made 24 hours before the appointment time. Failure to do so will result in the full-service rate being charged to the payment on file, with no exceptions.

Arrive Punctually

It’s vital for you to arrive on time for your appointment to avoid causing inconvenience to other clients and to avoid shortening your service time. We highly recommend arriving about 15 minutes early to prevent potential disruptions and complete any necessary paperwork, such as a health questionnaire or consent form, without feeling rushed. Arriving early will also allow you to relax and unwind before your appointment. After 15 minutes of tardiness, your treatment will be shortened and, if impossible, canceled. In either case, a full-service charge will be posted to your payment method on file.

Spa Attire

The appropriate attire for a spa visit depends on the type of spa treatments you will receive. We provide comfortable robes and slippers for guests to wear during their visit. It is advisable to avoid wearing large pieces of jewelry for body services. If you are uncertain about what to wear, please get in touch with us before your appointment.

Shower Before Appointments

Showering before is essential for personal hygiene, and our energetic and revitalized water helps open your pores and prepare your skin for treatments such as massages, facials, or body wraps. This can enhance the effectiveness of the treatments and allow you to enjoy your spa experience fully.

Communicate Your Preferences

We strive to make every experience focused on you and ask that you please let our staff know of any specific needs or preferences you may have, such as areas of the body to avoid or focus on during a massage or if you have any allergies or health concerns. Our self-care experts are more than willing to accommodate your requests to ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience.

Silence Your Phone

Our spa is a place of relaxation and rejuvenation, and having your phone with you can be distracting and disrupt the peaceful atmosphere- for you and others. Be respectful and help create a serene ambiance for everyone; please turn off your phone or put it on silent mode. Ultimately, the goal of visiting a spa is to disconnect from the outside world and focus on your well-being. Leaving your phone in your locker will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the spa experience and fully enjoy the benefits of your visit.

Respect Others’ Privacy

Maintain a quiet atmosphere in the spa and respect other clients’ personal space and privacy. Be mindful of your volume when speaking, and avoid disruptive behavior. Please adhere to the rules or guidelines set by the spa, as they are in place to ensure the comfort and privacy of all guests.

Tip Appropriately

Tipping is typically expected for spa services and is usually preferred in cash, although card or other forms of payment may be accepted. The customary range for tipping is 18-20% of the service price; this is the best way to show your appreciation for the excellent services provided by our self-care experts.

Practice Common Courtesy

We respect each other and pride ourselves on the tranquil environment at Weiler Academy. We ask that you use common courtesy and treat others as you would like to be treated. This includes being polite, friendly, and respectful to other guests and our world-class team. Dispose of trash properly, place towels and robes in hampers, return any borrowed items to our welcome desk, and leave the spa clean and tidy for the next guest. Ask our team if you need any assistance throughout your experience; we are here to make it enjoyable.
